House burglar arrested; police recover Rs 13.75 lakh
The Saroornagar police on Tuesday arrested a house burglar and recovered Rs 13.50 lakh net cash and a mobile phone, all worth Rs 13.75 lakh from the possession of the accused.

According to police, accused B Srinivas (34) who is a native of Husnabad in Siddipet district committed theft of cash from a house at Punugodu village in Suryapet district and absconded from the spot.
The accused in 2008, went to Dubai and after 2 years came back to his native village.
After his return, his parents performed his marriage and following which he and his wife migrated to Hyderabad for earning a livelihood. The couple was residing in the house of the complainant.
On May 25, 2019, when the complainant P Mary, resident of Karmanghat under Saroornagar Police station limits went to market, the accused committed theft of Rs 14 lakh net cash from the almirah locker and decamped with the booty.
Based on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case under sections 380 IPC and arrested the accused on Tuesday and recovered Rs 13.50 lakh net cash and a mobile worth Rs 25,000 from him.
