Three chain snatchers who robbed gold from a woman in Amberpet have been arrested by the city police on Sunday. Around 40 grams of gold was recovered from them.
The police nabbed them near Kachiguda railway station. The arrested were identified as Harsha Joshi (19), Potlakari Manoj Kumar (18) and Thakur Ashwin Singh (22).
The accused snatched a chain from a woman at DD Colony in Amberpet while she was walking on the road. According to the police, the trio headed to Kachiguda railway station after committing the crime and Manoj changed his shirt for not getting identified.
The police cracked the case with the help of CCTV footage and nabbed the accused who admitted to committing the crime.
