The accused Shiva Prasad had set his former colleague Sri Devi afire at her home in 2015 in Medipally. Getting into details, the duo worked together for sometime and Prasad used to meet at Sri Devi her home over some financial transactions.
Some differences broke up between the two and Prasad picked up a quarrel with Sri Devi on March 24, 2015. In a fit of rage, Shiva Prasad poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.
The Medipally police filed a case and arrested Shiva Prasad.
