Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao along with family will visit two of the famous temples in Andhra Pradesh this week.

He will first have darshan of Lord Balaji in Tirumala on Monday and two days later he will be offering special prayers in Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada (on May 29).

KCR took a special flight to Tirupati on Sunday. He reached Renigunta Airport around 4.30 pm and from there he proceeded directly to TTD Guest House in Tirumala.

Several YSRC MLAs and party activists as well as TTD EO, AEO and officials received the Chief Minister and his family members at the airport and in Tirumala.

Rao and family members are scheduled to have darshan of Lord Balaji on Monday morning and will return Hyderabad in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Chandrashekhar Rao will be visiting the temple of Goddess Kanakadurga atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on May 29.

Next day, KCR will be attending the swearing-in ceremony of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

According to sources, the Chief Minister's Vijayawada tour schedule was confirmed and KCR will visit the temple along with family members on Wednesday.

The TRS supremo will perform special pujas to the presiding deity and stay in Vijayawada on Wednesday night.
