Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Coal hailed the services of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).
Khammam: Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Coal hailed the services of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). On Tuesday, as part of his visit to Hyderabad, he conducted a review meeting with the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company N Sridhar and company Directors at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Before the meeting, he was welcomed by CMD N Sridhar and Director S Chandra Sekhar Rao.
Later, the CMD explained the services of the company in the last five years. The Secretary expressed happiness over the progress of the company and stated that the SCCL was playing a key role in coal production.
He also lauded the company for construction of railway lines with its own money for the transport of coal, and also enquired about works at Naini coal block in Odisha.
Directors of the company S Shankar, B Bhaskar Rao and N Bala Ram, Advisers D N Prasad and S Surendra Pandey, Executive Director J Alwyn, General Manager Antony Raja and others attended the meeting.
