Patancheru: Local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Thursday handed over the insurance cheque for Rs.2 lakh to the family members of TRS woman activist Shanthilata Subudhi, who was killed recently in a road accident.
Reddy called the family members to his camp office. Addressing them, he stated that the TRS party would always stand by with its activists. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had provided accidental insurance facility to all party activists with the humane objective of benefiting their families. Among those present on the occasion included Zilla Parishad Vice-chairman Prabhakar, TRS leader Dasarath Reddy.
