Man live streams poll results at daughter's wedding venue in Choutuppal
Thinking that most of the guests would not turn up for the wedding as.Thursday is the poll results day, father of a bride arranged big television screens at the wedding venue for the guests to get information about results besides helping them enjoy the wedding
Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Entertaining their guests in a different way, the parents and organisers of a wedding on Thursday, the day coinciding with the Parliament poll results, have arranged big television screens at the wedding venue to let their guests get the minute-by-minute information about the results.
It can be recalled that as per the schedule of Election Commission, the general elections across the country were concluded on May 19 and counting of votes was carried out on Thursday. As day being an auspicious, many marriages were also performed the same day across the district.
In order to pull the guests to the wedding venue, Gurram Venkatesham of Choutuppal thinking innovatively arranged big TV screens at his daughter Divya's wedding venue at Lakkaram village of Choutuppal mandal, where the live streaming of polls results were played. Venkatesh, who got accolades from the guests for the idea, informed that by taking internet connection, he provided the live coverage of results on television screens set up at the venue.
Meanwhile, bridegroom Jella Vinod Kumar's parents Jella Venkatesham and Vimala expressed their pleasure over the full attendance of guests to their son's wedding and thanked the Venkatesham for his brilliant idea.
