An 11-month-old boy died after drinking kerosene mistaking it for water here on Friday at Nizamabad. He was identified as Sai Vardhan.
Nizamabad: An 11-month-old boy died after drinking kerosene mistaking it for water here on Friday at Nizamabad. He was identified as Sai Vardhan.
Sai Vardhan's parents Sai Charan and Meena were cleaning the house in the view of Maha Shivaratri when the boy walked out of the house and saw the kerosene bottle near the stove.
Mistaking it as water, Sai Vardhan consumed the liquid and lost his consciousness. His parents shifted him to Bodhan government hospital where the doctors referred him to Nizamabad hospital. The boy died in the mid-way while being shifted to the hospital.
The couple is the native of Vallabhapur village of Kotagiri Mandal in Nizamabad.
