Demanding the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s apologies to the State, the students of OU took out rally.

Osmania University: Condemning the fiasco in the Board of Intermediate education (BIE), the student leaders of National Students' Union of India (NSUI) under the leadership of Telangana Vidyarthi Nirudyoga Joint Action Committee (TVNJAC) state president Kotla Durga Raj staged protest in front of Intermediate Board on Monday. A large number of students of NSUI from Osmania University participated in the protest.

Demanding the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's apologies to the State, the students of OU took out rally. Speaking to the media persons, TVNJAC president Kotla Durga Raj said that due to the lackadaisical attitude of officials of BIE and Globarena Technologies in the Intermediate results claimed the lives of innocent students.

He said as many as 20 students had lost their lives due to goof up in the recently released inter results. Durga Raj demanded that the state government provide Rs 25 lakh of ex gratia for each student who committed suicide. He demanded the justice to the families of the students.

Durga Raj warned that the stir would be continued till the justice done to the families of students who lost their lives and failed students in the inter exams. The student leaders of NSUI raised slogans against the Telangana government and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and also demanded resignation of Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy and suspension of BIE Secretary A Ashok.
