The former PM’s followers recount his love for technology, his expertise in economics

Hyderabad: The birth centenary celebrations of former India Prime Minister and Telangana Muddu Bidda were kick started on a grand scale in more than 50 countries.

On a call given by Telangana Industry and IT minister KT Rama Rao, Telangana NRI Forum, Telangana Jagruthi and other Telangana affiliated associations paid glorious tributes to the former PM who is fondly called as PV.

Telangana Development Forum - Europe and UK Members P Srinivas Reddy and Kamal said that the forum is supporting the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's demand to bestow Bharat Ratna on PV recognising the yeoman services rendered to the nation in different capacities by him.

In Sweden and Austria, Telugu Associations also conducted PV's birth celebrations despite the corona scare is haunting the world community.

TRS NRI Cell-Oman, President E Mahipal Reddy recalled PV services as Chief Minister, Union Minister and Prime Minister to the country. The former PM is not only a shrewd political leaders but also a writer, journalist and polyglot.

TRS US wing leader T Arvind said that PV was keen to adopt emerging technology. The departed leader had bought a computer from America and acquainted himself with computer knowledge even at his advanced age also.

Besides politics, PV was also expert in economics. The liberalised economic policies introduced during PV regime had changed India 's fortunes and the country had reached to the stage of competing with developed nations on world platform.

Telangana Jagruthi Forum- Bahrain , Telangana NRI forum - London and Telangana Jagruthi United Kingdom wings also celebrated PV's birthday and resolved to take forward the principles and ideology adhered by the former Prime Minister in his life time.
