RSETI courses launched for women’s self-employment
Wanaparthy: District collector Adarsh Surabhi on Tuesday announced a ‘Japa Maid’ (Mother and Baby Care Taker) course that will be launched under the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI).
He urged interested women to avail of the opportunity. “Those aged between 18-50 who have passed SSC should take advantage. Women interested and willing to work in urban areas can utilise the opportunity,” he said. Selected candidates would receive 20 days of free training, along with awareness regarding employment prospects in the ‘Japa Maid’ sector. The training would cover maternal and infant care daily, managing their needs, hygiene, nutrition, and safety. They will be educated on the fundamentals of maternal care, responsible home-based work practices and precautions for well-being of both mother and child.
