RTC bus runs into farm fields, 4 hurt in Nagarkurnool
Four persons were injured while many others escaped when a speeding bus which lost control ran into an agriculture fields and hit a tree at Madanapally village of Telkapally mandal in Nagarkurnool district on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver of the RTC bus which was heading towards Vattipally village from Nagarkurnool while overtaking at Vattipally gate lost control over the vehicle and ran it into the agriculture fields.
The bus had more than 20 passengers at time of the incident. A major accident was averted as the soil in the field was loose and wheels got struck in it. However, the bus came to a halt only after hitting a tree in the field. Meanwhile, four persons suffered severe head injuries in the incident and were immediately shifted to Nagarkurnool district hospital for treatment. The remaining escaped unhurt.
The passengers alleged that overspeeding and negligent driving by the bus driver had led to the accident and urged the RTC department officials to take action against the driver for risking the lives of passengers.
