Singireddy lauds marigold farmer

Former Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy felicitating farmer Shanthanna
Wanaparthy: Former Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy visited a marigold flower garden cultivated by farmer Shanthanna at Marrikunta on Sunday. He inspected the cultivation methods and appreciated the healthy growth and yield of the flowers.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said farmers should cultivate seasonal crops and make them available to the public. He noted that marigold flowers are in high demand during Dasara and Deepavali and said locally grown flowers would be more convenient for consumers than importing them from distant places. Niranjan Reddy personally placed orders for flowers for the Dasara and Deepavali festivals, encouraging the farmer and supporting local cultivation.
