High Court makes it clear that it will not lift the interim orders unless the arguments were completed

Hyderabad: The High Court Chief Justice bench on Thursday heard the plea filed by J Shankar who alleged that allotment of land admeasuring 5 acres in Survey No 96 of Mokila village of Shankarpally mandal in Ranga Reddy district at a nominal cost of Rs 5 lakh per acre to film director N Shankar as arbitrary and illegal.

Director N Shankar's counsel requested the court to lift the interim orders which has been given to stop the studio construction work.

The High Court rejected the respondent counsel's request and stated that it would not lift the interim orders until full arguments were heard. The hearing in the case has been adjourned to January 6.
