Vinod confident of winning again

Karimnagar: TRS candidate for Karimnagar parliament constituency Boinpalli Vinod Kumar strongly believes that the various developmental works he had taken up for the district will help him in retaining the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat for the second time.

Even the cadre of his opponent parties – Congress and BJP - admit that Vinod will win this time also for his work and welfarism attitude.

The constituency, which is traditionally the TRS' stronghold and won by it since 2004, except in 2009, has seven Assembly segments. The TRS had won all these seven segments in 2018 Telangana Assembly elections.

Congress had fielded Ponnam Prabhakar again, who lost the seat to Vinod Kumar by over two lakh votes majority in 2014 polls. BJP's candidate Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who unsuccessfully contested in 2014 and 2018 Assembly elections, is trying his luck from the constituency.

Vinod has the backing of AIMIM and also Telangana Udyamakarulu, who are helping in his poll campaigning. he is busy in meeting people at their houses, conducting padayatras and organising interaction meetings, especially with young voters and students. Besides this, Vinod has strong support from party working president KT Rama Rao, who attends almost all of his meetings.

KTR opines that they conduct campaigning in such a way that they will explain whatever development programmes the TRS government taken up during its five-year tenure and will ask the people what more has to be done.

TRS focus has always been on investing in agriculture and to give a secured future for the farmers, along with providing drinking water, education etc to the youth.

Health Minister and Karimnagar LS constituency in-charge Eatala Rajender is confident of Vinod's victory as the TRS is seeking votes based on the development and welfare activities.

During his interaction with the people, Vinod is targeting both the national parties, BJP and Congress, over a number of issues which they failed to solve during the past 70 years. Explaining all the welfare schemes and development works, which party chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had taken up for the people of the State and what he could do further if the party comes to power, Vinod is mentally preparing the people to vote for the TRS.
