While campaigning for Konda Vishweshwar Reddy here on Tuesday, Congress Chevella MP candidate, at Chevella town, his wife Sangitha Reddy said Reddy was the son of the soil, who would sincerely work for the development of the constituency.

He would take steps to improve the civic infrastructure and the standard of living of the people, she added.
Sangitha Reddy said that the reason for his leaving the ruling TRS party was the gross neglect of the Chevella Constituency and its people. He highlighted issues in the party on several occasions, they assured him several times but were indifferent in taking up the issues. So he was compelled to leave, she added.
As a result, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy came out and joined Congress party, to fight for the people's cause, Sangitha added. She urged the people of the Chevella constituency to vote for Vishweshwar Reddy.
