State government issued orders to shift the III Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada along with its paraphernalia, on Wednesday.
Amaravati: State government issued orders to shift the III Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada along with its paraphernalia, on Wednesday.
Based on the request from Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, that the High Court while dealing with the subject of "proposal for shifting one of the CBI Courts from Visakhapatnam to Capital region, decided to shift the III Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada and along with its paraphernalia.
Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby decided to shift the III Additional CBI Court from Visakhatpatnam to Vijayawada along with its paraphernalia.
The Registrar requested government to take necessary action, accordingly. Hence, the government published the Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, in Wednesday.
"In exercise of powers conferred under sub section (1) of section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act No.2 of 1974),Government, after consultation with the High Court of Andhra Pradesh hereby shift the III Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada along with its paraphernalia.", G Manohar Reddy, Law department issued Gazette notification.
