BJP demanded that the government reveal the facts on Covid-19 positive cases and deaths while accusing the YSRCP government of not being transparent on the scenario
Amaravati: BJP demanded that the government reveal the facts on Covid-19 positive cases and deaths while accusing the YSRCP government of not being transparent on the scenario.
BJP state president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, in a letter to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday, said that the State Covid Command Control centre had stopped releasing detailed data.
So far, the government released data on Covid-19 positive cases, discharged and deceased cases both at the state and district level. But, now it stopped releasing such information.
He observed that the previous method of information was useful for the people to be cautious over the spread of virus.
They can take preventive measures in order to fight corona, if they are aware of the proper information.
Stating that the new model of bulletin keeps the people and caretakers in dark which is highly dangerous, Lakshminarayana said.
He demanded that the government to withdrew the new model and continue the old model of bulletins.
