American Telugu Association for Farmers (ATAFF) helps tomato farmers in AP amid crisis
Amid lack of demands, the farmers belonging to the Kadapa, Chittoor, Nellore and Prakasam district who cultivated the tomato have incurred a huge losses and are helpless.

However, as the last trial, the farmers have uploaded the videos of their products in the social media emphasising their fate of not able to sell their product in markets and to the public as well. The farmers have given up on their crops.
Meanwhile, by knowing the plight of the farmers through the social media The American Telugu Association for Farmers have come forward to help the farmers who are in dire needs hence they threw a challenge under name tomato challenge which received a good response. They distributed the farmers producet be it tomato, Brinjal and other vegetables to the public by providing fare price to farmers.
The American Telugu association for farmer (ATAFF) members Dr Vasudevareddy .N Subbareddy Chinthagunta, Venkat Kalluri (KV Reddy ) and Dr Prabhakar Reddy chinepalli have distributed the tomatoes to the needy with the help of locals where a total of 200 farmers from Chittoor district's Tambalapalli mandal, kotthakota mandal Vinjamuru farmers of Nellore district and Mango farmers of Pulivendula.
They have Purchased a total of 250 tonnes all together comprising various vegetables like tomatoes, onions, carrots, cabbages, brinjals, green chillies and fruits like mangoes and oranges from Giddaluru of Prakasam district and distributed to nearly 60,000 needy i.e., 4kg per person.
Prem Kalyan Reddy, RK Reddy, Satish Reddy and Bhargav are the members who have participated in distributing the vegetables in India.
