Anantapur: District Collector Gandham Chandrudu has directed the bankers to strive to achieve 100 per cent targets in disbursing loans for the 2020-21 fiscal.

Addressing the annual review meeting of the bankers in the district, Collector Gandham Chandrudu said that action plan has been formulated for Rs.15,230 crores.

He lauded the bankers for disbursing the incentives of both the central and state government in time to the beneficiaries in the corona lock-down context.

He instructed the bankers to achieve 100 percent targets in disbursal of loans for different sectors worth Rs,15,230 crores.

During the past 6 months an amount of Rs.2,000 crore was deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries of Rythu Bharosa, Amma Vodi and Vahana Mithra schemes, through 500 branches in the district, he said.

The bankers have to upload utilisation certificates of the SC Finance Corporation loans for the period 2014-15 to 2018-19. The photos of grounded units also should be uploaded in the OBMMS portal.

Joint Collector in-charge of village and ward secretariats Dr A Siri asked bankers to follow standard operation procedures in the corona context while serving the customers.

He asked bank staff to use masks and face covers. Bank customers and employees must and should use Arogya Sethu app.

District lead bank convenor cum Canara Bank regional manager Narasimham and Nabard AGM Usha Madhusudan were among those who participated.
