Vijayawada: Noted advocate Dr P Goutham Reddy said that 'Only education can make the students great but not the material wealth.
Goutham Reddy was the chief guest at the valedictory programme 'Sphoorthi-2019', a literary and cultural festival of Andhra Loyola College held on the college premises on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that educated youth can only bring changes in the country.
Students must concentrate on studies and also have a goal to serve the country through the democratic system. Team work and planning makes you better and the things which you learn today will make you fit for living in a competitive world, he said.
Later, the chief guest gave prizes to the winners of various competitions held at Sphoorti 2019. College principal Father Victor Emmanuel, Rev Father Balashowri, Rev Fr Sahaya Raj, college staff and students were present.
