Amaravati: Major General RK Singh, Andhra Pradesh Telangana General Officer Commanding, called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office here on Friday.
He invited the Chief Minister to attend the celebrations to be held in Tirupati on February 18 commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Victory of India in Bangladesh war in1971.
Later the major general met Chief Secretary Adityanath Das and appealed to him to allot site for construction of integrated defence complex in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the existing defence complex is situated in Hyderabad and for the welfare of ex army personnel of AP the department is planning to construct integrated defence complex in AP too.
The Chief Secretary assured to allot necessary site for the purpose.
