Arrangements in full swing for annual Brahmotsavams in Tirumala
With just less than a week left for the mega religious festival of annual Brahmotsavams in Tirumala, all the arrangements by various departments for the big event being speeded up.

The TTD Engineering Department is fine-tuning colourful and bright decorations along the four Mada streets. Barricades and queue line gates, repairs to toilets, drinking water taps are all put up. Special brass grills were set up with granite pillars at Swami Pushkarani.
Paintings and repairs completed on all thoroughfares and ghat roads. Additional parking space and mobile toilets are also set up near Alipiri as well. The TTD Electrical wing is putting up colourful LED light decorations and electrical cut outs at vital places in Tirumala and Tirupati.
About 6,000 security personnel including 1,200 TTD cops, 3,500 Srivari Sevakulu, 1,000 Scouts and Guides will be deployed and 1,650 cc cameras will be set up. In view of the huge crowds for Garuda Seva on October 4, TTD has banned plying of two-wheelers on ghat roads from Midnight of October 3 to the morning of October 5.
TTD has also put up grand exhibition stalls at Kalyana Vedika with a display of colorful flowers and fruits, Museum, Ayurveda, Sculpture, TTD has launched wide publicity programme by printing 12,000 wall posters, one lakh pamphlets,4500 booklets in Telugu Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and English for the benefit of devotees.
The Brahmotsavam wall posters are being displayed at TTD Kalyana mandapams and also pasted on RTC buses, Tourism department vehicles to other states etc. TTD Public Relations department roped in Srivari Sevakulu to for distribution of the material.
