Srikakulam: The BJP-led government at the Centre and TDP-led government in the State are utterly failed to address the issues related to workers of various industries and unemployment, lamented CITU national vice-president A K Padmanabhan.
In a seminar held on labour issues here on Saturday, he found fault with both the governments for working against workers instead of protecting their welfare.
Minimum Wages Act, provident fund rules, health cards, weekly offs and leaves are not implementing in all private institutions properly and governments also failed to observe strict implementation of these rules, he pointed out.
