Central Steel Secretary visits VSP
Binoy Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Steel, along with Ruchika Chaudhry Govil, Joint Secretary, Neeraj Agrawal, Director, and SK Singh, Under Secretary of Ministry of Steel visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Friday.
Visakhapatnam: Binoy Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Steel, along with Ruchika Chaudhry Govil, Joint Secretary, Neeraj Agrawal, Director, and SK Singh, Under Secretary of Ministry of Steel visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Friday.
The high level team visited major production units including expansion and modernisation Coke Ovens, Blast Furnace, Steel Melt Shop and Rolling Mills. They were apprised of the latest technologies incorporated in the plant during expansion and modernisation. The Steel Secretary witnessed a corporate presentation of RINL given by CMD P K Rath.
The Steel Secretary commended RINL for registering an all-round performance and growth in all areas of its operations and highest sales turn over of Rs 20,844 crores during 2018-19.
