Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in Sankranti celebrations hosted by civil supplies minister Kodali Nani at Gudivada in Krishna district.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in Sankranti celebrations hosted by civil supplies minister Kodali Nani at Gudivada in Krishna district. The celebrations were being held at the K Convention centre at Lingavaram road.
CM YS Jagan had witnessed the Bullock cart racing event. On the occasion of Bhogi, the Chief Minister has blessed the children by showering gooseberries on them. CM YS Jagan along with Ministers Kodali Nani, Vellampalli Srinivas, YSRCP MP Balashowri and a large number of people participated in the celebrations.
Earlier in the day, Jagan Mohan Reddy conveyed Sankranti wishes to the people of the state through his Twitter handle. "Along with the government's welfare schemes, nature has blessed the state abundantly this year, " Jagan wrote on Twitter. He wished that Sankranti, which is celebrated as a farmers festival would bring new pleasures to the state and people.
