Complete GNSS, HNSS pending works under war foot manner- Government Chief Whip
Government Chief Whip G.Srikanth Reddy has directed the officials to pay special attention for completion of pending works related to Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi
Kadapa: Government Chief Whip G.Srikanth Reddy has directed the officials to pay special attention for completion of pending works related to Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi(GNSS) and Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) in a war foot manner.
The government has conducted review meeting over the progress of GNSS, and HNSS at Konampet village of Lakki Reddy palle mandal on Saturday he said that chief minister very particular about completion of these two projects as it was decided to construct diversion canal to link Kundu-Penna rivers in the recent meeting interest of providing water for agriculture operations and drinking water Punganuru, Pileru, Madanapalle, Tamballa palle constituencies of Chittoor district.
He said presently 1350cusecs of water is being supplied through Veligallu to Kaletivagu, and tanks in the Ryachoti constituency. He also said that the government is contemplating to supply drinking water through Water Grid by setting up water taps to every house in the district. He said the government has able to save maximum money following the adoption of Reverse Tendering Process(RTP). He urged the officials to conduct the works in a transparent manner. Irrigation officials were present.
