As the fifth phase of nationwide lockdown has begun today, which will continue till June 30, the states have been giving relaxations and as per the centre's guidelines. In this backdrop, the Andhra Pradesh police have made it clear that those who want to travel to Andhra Pradesh from other states have to follow the rules. It has made clear that coronavirus tests should be carried out at checkpoints bordering the state. Since the exams are likely to take some time, everyone is requested to cooperate.

According to the latest guidelines issued by the centre, the travelers who wish to travel to Andhra Pradesh from other states on the road are advised to take the e-pass through the 'spandana' portal. While those who come from other states which has low impact of coronavirus are required to be in the home quarantine and tose who come from states with high corona effects are required to undergo the Coronation Test for seven days on the Institutional Quarantine. These conditions are said to be continued until the government takes a decision on interstate commerce.

Meanwhile, despite easing the lockdown, the state has registered the 98 new cases on Sunday taking the tally to 3041 along with 62 deaths.
