Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu said that differently-abled persons could achieve anything in life, if they were provided opportunities.

The Minister inaugurated sports meeting for the differently-abled persons at District Sports Authority grounds here on Tuesday. He said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has increased the pension to Rs 3,000 for differently-abled persons.

Stating that the differently-abled were second to none, he reminded that a blind woman also became an IAS officer recently. It remains testament to the spirit of diverse talents in differently-abled persons. They should persevere and not give up easily, Kannababu added.

MLA Dwarampudi Chandrashekhar Reddy said that participating in sports will go a long way in helping to uncover the hidden talents among the differently-abled.
