Vijayawada: Former DCP G Amaranth released a book titled "O my motherland-Cry" authored by former DGP of Madhya Pradesh, Mariya Kumar at Press Club on Wednesday.
The author has highlighted the inequalities being prevailed in the society and socio-economic conditions in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, former DCP Amaranth has praised Maria Kumar for writing the book and narrating the current problems being faced by our country.
He felt the dream of Dr B R Ambedkar for equality yet to become a reality in India.
He said everyone must take social responsibility to eliminate apartheid and racism in the country.
Another guest MV Prasad recalled a great writer Alan Paton wrote a book on the apartheid and struggle made by the blacks in South Africa during the white people's rule.
