Tirupati: On the second day of Karthika Brahmotsvam, Goddess Padmavathi was taken in a procession atop Pedda Sesha Vahanam in Tiruchanur near here on Sunday. The divine mother charmed devotees in the alankara of 'Sri Vaikuntha Perumal on Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
As a part of the ongoing annual Karthika Brahmotsavams , the Goddess blessed Her devotees in the guise of her beloved Swamyvaru (Vaikuntanadha). Sitting majestically on the special aasan on the vahanam, the Goddess holding gadha in her left hand took out a celestial ride all along the Mada streets enthralling the devotees.
Devotees who converged in large numbers, chanted Govinda… Govinda out of divine excitement on seeing the graceful appearance of Goddess on the seven hooded Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
