Government girls school gets Rs 40 lakh donation
In a touching gesture, Ramachandra Rao of Lalachervu has donated an amount of Rs 40 lakh for the construction of a dining hall and also an indoor stadium for Government Girls’ High School.
Rajamahendravaram: In a touching gesture, Ramachandra Rao of Lalachervu has donated an amount of Rs 40 lakh for the construction of a dining hall and also an indoor stadium for Government Girls' High School.
Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, the school headmaster B Tamma Rao said that the construction of dining hall was completed and the construction of indoor auditorium would be commenced shortly in 120x50 feet area.
With the construction of dining hall, the students can take their lunch leisurely in a spacious area. Drinking water is also being made available to the students. At present, the school students' strength is 630 and textbooks, shoes, etc were distributed to the students. Plans are afoot to provide more facilities to the students in a phased manner, Rao added.
