Government of India recognizes Amaravati as AP capital in the political map
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy said that the corrected map of India has published on Friday, by including the Andhra Pradesh capital city Amaravati.
Amaravati: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy said that the corrected map of India has published on Friday, by including the Andhra Pradesh capital city Amaravati. In the first release, after the reorganization of Jammu Kashmir and Ladhak, the union government released the Indian political Map without naming the Amaravati.
As there is a huge protest from the public and the TDP Lok Sabha member Galla Jaya Dev raised the same issue in the Lok Sabha, the union government has released the corrected Map.
"Taking note of the issue of Amaravati missing from the map, raised by Hon'ble MPs of AP in the Parliament yesterday, I took up the matter with the concerned. The error has been rectified. Here is the revised map of India.@JayGalla @MithunReddyYSRCPC: Survey of India", he tweeted.
