Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan visiting Vizag today
Arrangements are in place ahead of the visit of Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to Visakhapatnam city on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Arrangements are in place ahead of the visit of Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to Visakhapatnam city on Wednesday. In view of the maiden visit of the Governor, District Collector V Vinay Chand visited the circuit house and directed the staff to make all necessary arrangements on Tuesday.
He was accompanied by other officials. Later on, the Collector inspected the arrangements at Telugu Museum in Kailasagiri. While reviewing arrangements, Joint Collector L Siva Sankar instructed the officials to see that the visit is conducted in a hassle-free manner. The arrangements for Governor's visit will be coordinated along with the officials of revenue, VMRDA, Police, GVMC, District Administration, among others.
According to the schedule, the governor arrives on Wednesday by a special flight and leave to Vijayawada on August 1. He will visit the Eastern Naval Command, Telugu Museum at Kailasagiri, YSR Central Park on the first day of his visit.
On Thursday, the Governor will take part in a couple of programmes at Andhra University and visit Visakhapatnam Port Trust before reaching the airport at 7:40 p.m. to return to Vijayawada.
