The Governor inaugurated a free medical camp at MJ Naidu Hospital here on Saturday to mark the 33rd anniversary celebrations. The hospital management organised a few events on 'Say No To Plastic'. He gave away prizes to the winners of the events and distributed uniforms to the students of MJ Naidu adopted Karnati Ramamohana School.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that single use plastic was hampering and polluting the environment and it was the responsibility of everyone to stop using plastic carry bags and save the planet for the coming generations.
He complimented the hospital management for organising the medical camp as a social responsibility and told to organise many more health camps in days to come. Dr MJ Naidu too spoke on the occasion. MLA Malladi Vishnu, hospital managing director Madhavi, Turlapati Kutumba Rao and others were present.
