Guntur: TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife N Bhuvaneswari assured that they will set up Anna Canteens, if the TDP comes to power.
She inaugurated Anna Canteen set up by the TDP leaders at Revendrapadu village of Duggirala mandal in Mangalagiri Assembly constituency.
She visited Revendrapadu village as part of Nijam Gelavali on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, she recalled that his father NT Rama Rao had introduced the Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme.
The TDP government set up Anna Canteens in 2018. She said the TDP leaders are conducting 140 Anna Canteens in the state.
