Guntur: Woman and Child Welfare department project director B Manoranjani said that practising yoga is good for health.

She addressed a meeting held at Disha Centre in Guntur city to mark World Yoga Day on Sunday. Speaking on this occasion, she urged the people regularly practice yoga.

Mahila Pranganam manager T Krishna Veni, Disha Centre administrative officer K Santibushan Gopi, advocate A Vijaya Lakshmi.

Vignan's University vice-chancellor Dr MYS Prasad said that yoga will relieve one from mental stress and coordinate body and mind.

He addressed a meeting held at Vignan's University at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Sunday on the occasion on of World Yoga Day. He suggested all the members of the family to practice yoga. He said, Yoga will improve resistance power. He recalled that the world countries have recognised the significance of yoga.
