Heavy rains lashes in Kurnool district
With the heavy rains lashed Allagadda, Nandyal and Sirivella in Kurnool district, several houses in low lying areas were submerged in flood waters.
Kurnool: With the heavy rains lashed Allagadda, Nandyal and Sirivella in Kurnool district, several houses in low lying areas were submerged in flood waters. Due to overflowing of Vakkileru Vagu the CSI Church girls hostel in Yerraguntla village was totally submerged in the floodwater. Around 500 students were safely shifted to other place. In charge collector, Patanshetty Ravi Subash has ordered the RDOs, MROs, Irrigation, diasater management, fire department and rescue operation personnel to be alert. Patanshetty has also advised the people not to cross rivelutes as their will threat of washing away. As per district collectors ordersall M.A.Os of the allagadda and Koilakuntla constituency are requesting to stay at head quaters coordinate wuth M.R.O s and M.D.O s regarding floods .and also alert the farming community on flood and submit a preliminary report immediately to this office without fail.
