Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on the postponement of the election of local bodies. However, he found fault on YSRCP for distorting the judgment. Chandrababu questioned whether the AP government has any responsibility, how they could move the Supreme Court over the postponement of the election.
"Ministers and MLAs are abusing and harassing the Election Commissioner making false claims of alleging SEC of not consulting the state government over the postponement of elections, " Naidu said. The TDP chief has asked as to why they didn't raise the issue of 14 finance commission funds.
Speaking about coronavirus, he said that more than 160 countries have been affected by corona. So far, Corona has no drugs. If the whole world is taking precautionary measures against Corona, there is no step from Govt till now.
On the other hand, Naidu provided some preventive measures through his Twitter to the people asking them to maintain social distance to curtail the coronavirus.
