IRCTC to launch Bharat Darshan tour from Jan 3
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has introduced several tour packages for the convenience of the public to visit various tourist destinations.
Tirupati: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has introduced several tour packages for the convenience of the public to visit various tourist destinations.
Now, it has announced Bharat Darshan Special Tourist train to 'Dakshina Bharat Yatra' (South Indian Tour) from January 3 to 10 with 7 nights and 8 days. It covers major temples in South India – Trichy Sriranganathaswamy temple, Rameswaram Ramnatha Swamy temple, Madurai Meenakshi temple, Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram Padmanabhaswamy temple, Mahabalipuram and Kancheepuam Kamakshi temple among others.
IRCTC Area Manager BV Ramesh said that the tariff was fixed at Rs.7,560 for sleeper coaches and Rs.9,240 for AC 3 Tier coach and government employees can avail the LTC facility. Interested tourists can board the tourist train at Secunderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongloe, Nellore and Renigunta.
IRCTC also announced two International Flight packages from Hyderabad to Dubai and Colombo. 'The Splendors of Dubai' tour will be operated from December 2 to 6 which will have 4 nights and 5 days. The package cost per person will be Rs.70,010 for single occupancy and Rs.62,400 for double occupancy.
'The Finest Island in the World' package between Hyderabad and Colombo will commence on December 18 and ends on 22. The package cost would be Rs.50,980 for single occupancy and Rs.44,300 for double occupancy.
