Eluru: As part of Jalashakthi programme, eco-club members of Ch SD St Teresa College for Women organized various events since September 1. The students paid a visit to the adopted village of Sriramnagar Colony and organised a rally for bringing awareness among people on water conservation.
They took oath on water conservation and rain water conservation. They also participated in cleaning and demonstration of recharge pits in the college campus. On Monday, they took part in sapling plantation programme.
On this occasion, a human chain was formed to create awareness on water conservation. The college principal, eco club coordinator and members participated.
