Jana Sena Leader files a petition On Corruption in Polavaram Project in Delhi High Court

It seems the Polavaram project is being haunted by cases ever since it started. However, the project started off after it has beengiven National status. Recently, the YSRCP govt headed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy issued new orders in re tenders.

Off late, a petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court by Jana Sena leader pentapati Pullarao alleging that the project is corrupt.
The petition was taken up by the Delhi High Court. The High Court has directed the Center to consider the petition as a complaint.
Jana Sena leader told the High Court, the project cost was increased from Rs 16,000 crore to Rs 58,000 crore, which involved massive corruption and irregularities.
