Krishna district's Pedana Municipal Commissioner attacked for allegedly harassing a worker

Tensions are high in Krishna district's Pedana municipality after Pedana Municipal Commissioner M. Anjaiah was attacked by staff while he was on his way to a morning walk. The sanitation workers attacked him at once for allegedly harassing sexually and behaving indecently with a worker named Lankeshwari.

Sanitation workers later lodged a complaint with the Pedana police against Municipal Commissioner M Anjaiah. However, Commissioner Anjaiah said he did not understand why he was attacked and that he was deliberately attacked while going for a walk and condemned the accusations made by the victims against him.

Meanwhile, Pedana police have launched an investigation into the incident. It remains to be seen whether the allegations levelled against the commissioner are true. While the woman who was allegedly harassed demanding strict action against the commissioner.
