K.S.Lakshmana Rao elected from Guntur-Krishna districts Graduates MLC constituency
He got 68,120 votes majority
Guntur : PDF candidate K.S.Lakshamana Rao has been elected to the Krishna-Guntur districts Graduates MLC constituency with a majority of 68,120 votes at the end of the 12th round. His rival Nuthalapati Anajaiah got 12,550 votes. Earlier two times, he was elected to the State Legislative Council from Krishna-Guntur districts teachers constituency.Third time was elected from Graduates constituency. He got 80,670 votes out of 1,49,319 votes polled in the polling.
District collector and Krishna-Guntur districts Graduates constituency returning officer Kona Sasidhar declared K.S.Lakshmana Rao elected to the State Legislative Council. Speaking on this occasion,he said that he will raise problems of the people in the council and try to solve them.
