Tirupati: Punganur sitting MLA and YSRCP State general secretary Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has slammed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for indulging in backdoor politics. He described Chandrababu as a person, who lack ethics.

Addressing the media at his residence here on Friday, Peddireddy alleged that the TD government had distributed free drip irrigation units to SC beneficiaries at a cost of Rs 39 crore in Punganur and Thamballapalle after

(MCC) came into effect. It is a violation of election code and a complaint already submitted to the Election Commission, he said.

The YSRCP leader accused Chandrababu of using services of AB Venkateswara Rao after the EC transferred him from the post of Intelligence DG. Rao provided inputs to the TDP for managing the local YSRCP leaders at the time of elections, he criticised. He mentioned that the YSRCP had informed the EC about TDP chief using services former Intelligence DG.

Peddireddy made Chandrababu responsible for poll violence in Rayalaseema districts. He levelled serious allegations against Chittoor SP Vikrant Patil. "SP worked like an agent to the ruling TDP as his wife is relative of Chandrababu.

The SP will face consequences for his mistakes once YSRCP comes to power," he said. Ramachandra Reddy exuded confidence of YSRCP wining polls with a thumping majority. YSRCP district president K Narayana Swamy and other leaders were present.
