M Sc student cheats ATM card holders, arrested
An M Sc student cheated ATM card holders and Rajam police arrested the youth on Tuesday.
Srikakulam: An M Sc student cheated ATM card holders and Rajam police arrested the youth on Tuesday. The accused was identified as A Shyam Sundar of Terlam of Vizianagaram district.
He was addicted for bad habits and greedy for money. In the name of guiding the ATM card holders, he cheated them and drew money from their account. The accused cheated for Rs 20,000 from Y Gouri and drew money from her account through her ATM after she withdrew money. She lodged complaint with the police.
The accused also withdrew Rs 5,000 money from another person ATM card and the victim also lodged complaint with the police. After registration of the case, police collected evidence through CC cameras footage. Rajam police arrested the accused and produced him before the media. Palakonda DSP, R. RajaPrasad, Rajam CI, G Somasekhar gave details of the case.
