Machilipatnam: Krishna District Superintendent of Police M Ravindra Babu made it clear that section 144 would be implemented very strictly across the district. He asked the people to stay at their homes till March 31. He inspected the arrangements made for the lockdown in Machilipatnam on Tuesday.
He said coronavirus was spreading in the state fast and underlined the need to check it. He warned that stringent action would be taken against the people if they roam on roads after 10 AM. He said people were allowed to come out of homes from 6 AM to 10 AM only when they could purchase vegetables and other groceries in the stipulated time.
