Make success of President visit: Collector
District Collector N Bharat Gupta has instructed the district officials to strive for making the proposed 3-day visit of President of India Ram Nath Kovind a big success.
Chittoor: District Collector N Bharat Gupta has instructed the district officials to strive for making the proposed 3-day visit of President of India Ram Nath Kovind a big success. Addressing a review meeting at the Collectorate here on Friday, the Collector informed the officials that AP Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would arrive at Tirupati to receive the President on Saturday.
Special liaison officers were appointed to monitor the arrangements at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanur, Kapil Theertham, Tirupati and Tirumala temple, he stated. According to information provided by Collector, the President will reach Renigunta airport at 5 pm on Saturday from Chennai airport.
He will visit Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple at 6.15 pm and will reach Padmavathi Guest House in Tirumala by 7.05 pm for night halt. On Sunday, the President will offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala.
