Guntur: Mangalgairi MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy distributed jute bags in Mangalagiri town on Sunday in the backdrop of ban on use of plastic carry bags.
He explained the urgent need to use jute carry bags for protecting the environment from ecological disasters and asked people to stop using plastic carry bags henceforth. He said that he would distribute 35,000 jute bags free of cost to the residents in the Mangalagiri town.
He urged the people to use jute carry bags and extend support for successful implementation of ban on use of single use plastic carry bags. Otherwise, the future generations will have to face lot of problems, he added.
