Vijayawada: The members of Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Industries Federation (APFPIF) and AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation on Tuesday conducted a meet to deliberate on industry scenario, present challenges, pending incentives, suggestions.

Potluri Bhaskara Rao, president, APFPIF, Cherukuri Sambasiva Rao, vice-president, APFPIF, D Tirupati Raju, general secretary, APFPIF and KVS Prakash Rao, president, AP Chambers and industrialists of food processing industry participated in the meeting .

Prakash Rao said it is happy to note Andhra Pradesh government sees exports as a priority area for development of the State with emphasis on the measures to identify new markets, develop new exportable products as per international standards and also enhance the entire trade ecosystem of the State.

Bhaskara Rao opined that food processing sector has emerged as one of the key sectors in the State in terms of investment, production growth and exports. Other dignitaries also spoke and gave their valuable suggestions.
